well on wednesday i am going to be getting my first tattoo.
i have had this particular piece of art that i have wanted for years but was too afraid to put it to skin as it will require a great amount of detail.
but i finally decided to go for it.

what kind of parents forget the day you were born?
jehovah's witness(es)!!!.
yes today is my 3rd birthday (only started celebrating 3 years ago).
I understand WhoLovesMagic.
I dont expect a birthday wish from my parents. It's just not worth the dissapointment. Heck, I was like them at one time, and didn't get my own Kiddos presants.
Since I have left, I do all that with my children. I also send cards to my none JW relatives and people that I have friended in real life and online. I really enjoy sending out cards. I take my time and pick out something that matches their peronality. hopefully.
If I may sugest, like others have. Next year. make your own celibration. Even if it's at your place, (i did that once) or go to a pub and tell them it's your B-Day , you'll get a free pint. Fun is not waiting for a call.
A Big Happy Birthday to you

ok so we have all be jws so that isn't unusual.
supply pictures if you can.. i have ridden an elephant.
ok so it was at the zoo but it was still an elephant.
My first time sking ever, was at Squaw Valley. We went up to the second level, very dumb for me. I got lost and all I could think about was wolves having me for dinner. But a Knight on shiny skies rescued me. (ie sky patrol) ;-)
I went to the last day of Carnivale in Venice IT during a backpacking trip. It was very heady. Most people had masks on, or painted faces . THen there were couples with the extravagent costumes that just stood very still. It was another world. Very sensual. ( I dont mean sexual) The unusual part was the next morning the town was empty and it had snowed! This completly changed this city with out streets. Turning it into a magical winter wonderland.
I took a massage class at Esalen, in Big Sur.
researchers have found that margay cats in south america mimic the sounds of their prey, in this case, baby monkeys, to attract monkeys.
this indicates intelligence and learning ability.
its far more advanced that how the wt portrays animals; ruled by divinely endowed animal instincts.
My rescue cat meows like a baby in the mouring if I sleep in. I swear if I was nursing, my milk would come in.
But I wake up to this evil looking black cat staring at me, wanting her mini can of food NOW. It's like waking up to Satanus' avatar , but 2 inches away from your face. Kitty breath and all. Smile.
After she eats, she is happy, purring, talking up a very normal kitty storm and her eyes are green again. She also gets a different meow when I'm on the phone , like a terrible two year old. LOL!
Little Devil , gotta love her!
my youngest who i haven't seen for 6 months came to collect the rest of her stuff from the flat today.. she was cold and indifferent towards me until the dog went for her because she no longer knows her and then she blamed me for everything that has happened.. having trouble keeping it together now..
Dear Amelia,
After reading Nuggets post, I see there is more to the story than 3 kids hating you. Alot more.
Stay close to your good , stable friend. She knows you . Take her up on that visit, even if you want to be by yourself.
Take care of yourself first.

my wife got me started watching this show last year.
we've downloaded the previous seasons on netflix and have found it to be really well done.
the story line, scenery, costumes, old cars and compelling characters have us hooked.
spoiler alert too.....................
I had heard the actor that played Mathew was not coming back next season, being lured to Hollywood. So I expected something. During the hunting scene I thought he migh get accidiently shot. Or raising home to see Mary , he might get into an accident. Acutually during the whole last hour , that's all I was thinking about. I'm really going to miss Mathew's charater too. I'll miss Mary and Mathew togeter, as he sees the best in her.
Waiting 'till January will be hard.
some of my friends are weekend warriors, so to speak.
days off are not always the weekend.. do you get to chill out?
coco is semi-retired but always tired .
A little bump.
Well , I'm off to my son's place for dinner and fun. Hopefully not to much fun...
I made a nice frittata. Everyone is so gluten worried,( whats up with that) so no pasta. Have some frisee, made a simple salad dressing of olive oil, red wine vinger, crazy salt, and minced shallot. Some blue cheese to top it off with. I'm bringing a loaf a ciabatta , casue I love bread and I made a nice tapenade of black olives , smashed anchovy and diced tomatoe for a topping.
Getting an Amarone and a Barbera on the way there. We are not white wine drinkers.
That thermador sounds nice, CoCo. I had one a will back. You pushed a button and the vent came up from the back. It was like magic. Nothing like cooking in a well thought out kitchen. Hope you have some fun.
Aussie Oz, Sorry you have a hard time relaxing. Sometimes I wish we could toss out all the communcatin methods we have, cell, computers, everything. Maybe after a few days we would learn to chill out. Take care and go pound on the metal.
Hopscotch, hope have a chill Sunday after noon.....

Hey there CoCo,
Maybe everyone's working now. Tomorow bump it, as most will be on their day off.
For me, when I have a day to myself . I like to cook something special. Usually involving pasta. Something sumputiously fattening. Blast the music and sip on a good Cab. Some for me and some for the sause. I like having my kids over for dinner as they think I can cook no wrong. I send all leftovers home with them. LOL
Or watch some classic movies with my cat sleeping on my feet, while makeing jewelry or painting simple sumi-e cards to send to family. My Aunt is turning 80 soon. Tomororw out with the paints.
Come summer I like working in the garden.
Not to exciting , but relaxing.
What do you like to do?
Eva
a search for the best laundry soap turned up that it was tide.
tide is very expensive, though.
baking soda.
Thank You clarity,
Looking at the bar of soap, on line, in it's package, I do remember it very well. I lived way out in the boonies and the dogs and bambinos would always bring in poison oak. We were always sharing the blisters. I used it alot and I love the smell of it. It brings back many a memorie of having to miss meetings due to having poison oak. Oh, darn.
I think this will be my grand-bambinos and I next project when they visit. Make it all pretty in nice big maison jars to share , like someone suggested.
Sorry imallcool,
I dont make bread, I make bricks.
For the longest time I tried to be a good little wife and make bread. I always ended up with a two ton brick. I gave up.
Watching a cooking show, later in life, I realized I kept my whole wheat flour in the freezer [worried about it going rancid] and I wasnt letting it get to a nice room temp. It was killing the yeast. I am not a baker. It's to technical. I love to cook. I can screw it up and fix it usually. I dont need a recipe or to measure anything.
Just as well as I am like Rippie , I would eat the whole damn thing.
They should make a ladies perfume of warm bread and strawberry jam. Who needs Channel No. whatever
